Together with the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, the Department of Education has once again co-funded the Indigenous Languages Grants Program.

Now in its second year, the State Government's $200,000 Indigenous Languages Grants program will enable Queenslanders to teach, learn and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages.

Through this program, 28 grants of up to $25,000 each are available for initiatives that promote, preserve and revitalise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages and dialects.

Applications close Tuesday 6 October 2020. Visit the DATSIP website to apply or find out more.
