RATEP is a community-based teacher education program that helps to increase the number of registered Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teachers and paraprofessionals in Queensland by offering programs in the home communities of the student teachers.
Previously operating only in remote areas, RATEP is now available to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout Queensland.
